E Factor comes to Welwyn Garden City

Potential pop stars wanted in Welwyn Garden City. Attimore Hall, Ridgeway in Welwyn Garden City will be hosting the final heat in it's 3rd year E Factor competition, Ember Inns' version of X Factor. Saturday 17th March is your chance to take part. The evening will include raffles throughout the evening to raise funds for local charity Isabel Hospice.

The E Factor competition is being held at 12 pubs across the region in support of local talent. The winner of each pub heat will win £100 before going on to a grand final in Hornchurch with a top prize of a further £400.

The first heat kicked off at the Harrow, Hornchurch on 28th Jan, with the final three on 9th March at the Huntsmand & Hounds, Upminster, 10th March at the White Horse, Great Baddow and then finally at the Attimore Hall on Saturday 17th March.

Keith Robinson, manager of the Attimore Hall, said: “Everyone needs a chance to shine. We could even have the next chart topper in our midst! We are looking forward to the event, and hope X-Factor fans will be inspired to enter our version - E Factor."

"On the night, and at every opportunity, we are supporting local charity, Isabel Hospice. They provide Community Nurse Specialists to care for patients living with a disgnosis of cancer. They are highly skilled in managing symptoms. They also offer physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and practical help to patients and carers, including family support, home care and respite care. Isabel Hospice services to patients are free of charge. The cost of providing those services is £4.5 million, of which they need to raise £3 million from charitable sources. We will do all we can in our charity drives to raise as much as possible for such a worthy cause."

To take part in the contest, applicants must fill in an entry form available at the Attimore Hall.
