Welwyn went to the International School in Brussels where they were runners up last year. The team played really well on the first day beating ISB Raiders Varsity 7-0, ASL (The American school in London) 8-1, the German team Hessen 4-1, and the American school in Switzerland 10-0 to reach the semi final played on the second day against Hamburg which the team won 14-0 to reach the final against the Chech side Jisni Mesto. After a hard thought final Welwyn lost 5-2 to come runners up. The whole team had done really well over the weekend with special mentions going to Thomas Yearsley for some outstanding goal keeping, Dave Groves as leading goal scorer, Danny Kelly as Captain, and James Small for best performance during the tournament.
