I built this model of the Titanic completely from scratch and is 1:100 scale, making it nearly 9ft long. I have studied the ship and its history for over 25 years and it has been built to a very high level of detail and is completely accurate. It has received excellent feedback from Titanic enthusiasts around the world, many who have seen the photographs of its build progress. The model took over 2 years to build and was completed in April 2012 exactly 100 years after the real Titanic sank which was my tribute to the legacy of the great ship.
I have built several Titanic models in the past and two of my previous models were sold to RMS Titanic Inc. which is the company who have retrieved and displayed artefacts recovered from the wreck. They displayed my earlier models last year at the 02 arena in London at the Titanic artefact exhibition.
This model is my personal best and the last one im going to build. It sits proudly in my study at home in Welwyn Garden City.
