On Saturday 11 May, Paul Ambler, a hidden talent from Stevenage, Denise Allen, artist and art tutor from Braamfield, David Cole, a very talented amateur photographer from Welwyn and are hosting an exhibition running until 31 May 2013 at PS Arts Gallery to raise much need funds for local charity Isabel Hospice.

Most enjoy making a snowman after a heavy fall, but for one resident in Rowans, Welwyn Garden City, this was not enough. They went one further, which was a of great delight to all those who were passing by.

All hands on deck this morning at Integra Signs in Letchworth

Santa and his helpers visited Woolenwick Infant and Nursery School on Thursday 20th December. The children had a lovely day which started with entertainment from 'Cheeky Dog.' In the afternoon, all the children had their class parties with a special visit not only from Santa, but also his elf and reindeer. The children had a wonderful time and it was a lovely way for them to get in to the Christmas spirit.
 

A beautifully crisp and frosty morning for a wander round a winter wonderland at Hampson Park in Stevenage.

The Year 2 children took part in a special nativity. The 60 children worked as a team to produce a fantastic performance of the Nativity which their parents thoroughly enjoyed. It will be their last Nativity at the Infant school. In July the move up to the Junior school and so it is very special and memorable.

Fairfield Players will be presenting an evening of comedy, in the form of two one-act plays (unsuitable for children), on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th November at the Memorial Hall, Hallworth Drive, Stotfold, SG5 4HR. Performances start at 7.45pm.
“Womberang” by Sue Townsend, shows Rita Onions cajoling patients in a gynaecological clinic waiting room to discard their fear of authority and stand up for themselves. In “The Last Panto in Little Grimley” by David Tristram, the Amateur Dramatic Society is in trouble. With few members, pitiful audiences and no money in the bank there is only one option left – an UNFORGETTABLE evening!
During the interval between the two plays, a fish and chip supper will be served. Bring your own alcohol. Entry is by ticket only. Tickets cost £10, and can be obtained from Cards and Crafts in Stotfold or by contacting the box office on 01462 626169.
